Design Council

Design Council’s mission is to make life better by design. We work with people to create better places, better products and better processes, all of which lead to better performance. Design Council will lead the ExploreStation programme, working with all partners to gather feedback on the station design, to inform and advise the next stage of development.

The Glass-House Community Led Design

The Glass-House Community Led Design have partnered with Design Council to deliver a series of virtual and in-person workshops for ExploreStation. The Glass-House Community Led Design is a national charity dedicated to connecting people with the design of their places, and connecting design with people. They will bring their expertise in designing, facilitating and running workshops with focused groups to help us achieve an in-depth response from people with diverse experiences and backgrounds.

Network Rail

Network Rail owns, operates and develops Britain’s railway infrastructure. That’s 20,000 miles of track, 30,000 bridges, tunnels and viaducts and the thousands of signals, level crossings and stations. Network Rail manage 20 of the UK's largest stations while all the others, over 2,500, are managed by the country’s train operating companies. Network Rail is the commissioner of ExploreStation and the new station design.
